Compounded semaglutide tracker

Compounded semaglutide is semaglutide prepared by a compounding pharmacy.

A compounded vial comes with more details to keep than a pen: its strength, volume, beyond-use date and sometimes a second ingredient. Tirzing keeps them all with the vial, and logs each shot against it.

What you can log for a compounded vial

Enter what is printed on your pharmacy’s label. Tirzing stores it and counts down from it.

  • The vial, as labeled

Strength, volume, overfill, compounding date and beyond-use date. Mark a vial open with one tap; punctures count up each time you log a shot from it.

  • Volume shown with each dose

Log a dose and the shot form shows the volume it works out to, from the details you entered. It is a cross-check against your pharmacy’s instructions and does not replace them.

  • Blends

A vial with more than one ingredient goes in as a blend, with each ingredient from the label. Log the shot by the main ingredient and Tirzing works out the rest from the same draw.

  • Scan the label

Photograph the vial and Tirzing reads the label fields for you to check. If scanning is unavailable, type them in.

  • Your schedule

One shot on a set day, several days, or every few days: whatever your prescriber set.

  • Reminders

One for each shot day, by push, email or both.

  • Supply and an estimate from your log Paid plans

When the vial runs out, and a level curve built from the shots you logged and a half-life you can edit.

  • Cost per vial Paid plans

Enter what each vial cost and see your spend over time.

Items marked “Paid plans” come with a paid plan. The rest are included on the free plan. Compare plans

What it looks like in the app

A sketch of three things you see after logging, with made-up entries.

Adding a compounded vial to Tirzing

  1. Open My supply and choose Scan vial, or Add supply and then A vial of one medicine.
  2. If the label lists more than one ingredient, choose A vial with a blend and add each one as printed.
  3. Enter the strength, volume, compounding date and beyond-use date from the label, and check anything the scan filled in.
  4. Enter your schedule as your prescriber set it, then log each shot against the vial.

Questions about tracking it

Can I log doses from a compounded vial?

Yes. Add the vial with the details printed on its label, then log each shot against it. The vial counts down as you go.

Can I track a vial with more than one ingredient?

Yes. Add it as a blend with each ingredient from the label, and log each shot by the main ingredient. An ingredient measured in mcg stays in mcg.

Can I record the beyond-use date?

Yes. Enter it with the vial, along with the compounding date. When two vials share a beyond-use date, the one compounded earlier is used first.

Does Tirzing tell me how much to draw?

No. The volume the shot form shows is arithmetic on the details you entered, as a cross-check only. Your prescriber and pharmacy decide what you take.
