Saxenda and Victoza tracker
Saxenda and Victoza are brands of liraglutide made by Novo Nordisk. Liraglutide is also sold as a generic.
A daily shot means a lot of entries. Tirzing keeps them quick to log, reminds you each day, and keeps your pens, blood sugar, weight and check-ins on one timeline.
Free plan with no time limit and no card. Works in any browser, with an Android app.
What you can log for a daily injection
Everything is built around your own schedule, so a daily shot works the same way as any other.
-
A daily schedule
Set how often to every day, or tick all seven days, if that is how your prescriber set it. Tirzing expects a shot each day and reminds you when one is due.
-
Pens counted by what they hold
Add each pen by the total and volume printed on its label. Each dose you log counts down from it, whatever the amount.
-
Shots and sites
Each shot with its time and injection site. Tirzing shows where you injected last.
-
Blood sugar or weight, or both
Glucose readings, A1c results and weigh-ins, next to your shots.
-
Daily check-in
Hunger, energy, mood and anything else you notice.
-
An estimate from your own log Paid plans
A level curve built from the shots you logged and the half-life set on the medication, which you can edit.
-
If you change medications
Archive one medication and add another. The old one’s shots and charts are kept on the same timeline.
-
History in and out
Import an old log and download everything as a CSV.
Items marked “Paid plans” come with a paid plan. The rest are included on the free plan. Compare plans
What it looks like in the app
A sketch of three things you see after logging, with made-up entries.
Setting up a daily injection in Tirzing
- Open Medications and add yours. Liraglutide is in the quick-start list, and you can rename it Saxenda or Victoza.
- Under how often, choose every 1 day (or tick every day of the week), as your prescriber set it.
- Open My supply and add each pen with the vial option, entering the total and volume printed on its label, so any dose you log counts down.
- Log each day’s shot from Shots, picking the pen under From supply.
Questions about tracking it
Can I track a daily injection?
Yes. Set the schedule to every day and Tirzing expects a shot each day, with a reminder when one is due.
How do I add a Saxenda or Victoza pen to my supply?
Add it under My supply by what it holds, using the total and volume printed on its label. Each dose you log counts down from it, so a pen used at different amounts still adds up.
Can I track generic liraglutide?
Yes. Add Liraglutide from the quick-start list, or any name you like, and track it the same way.
Does Tirzing tell me what dose to take?
No. Tirzing records what your prescriber set and what you logged. It never suggests a dose or a change.
