Frequently asked questions
Quick answers to the things new users ask most.
Short answers to common questions. For anything deeper, see the matching topic in the help center.
How often should I weigh myself?
Once a day, first thing in the morning after using the bathroom and before eating or drinking. Daily weights look noisy on their own, but Tirzing’s trend smooths them, and consistency is what makes the trend, stall detection and predictions reliable.
My weight jumped up overnight: did I do something wrong?
Almost certainly not. Day-to-day weight swings are mostly water (salt, carbs, hormones, a hard workout). That’s exactly why the app focuses on the trend rather than any single reading, and why Stall detection looks at a window of days rather than one number.
Why don’t I see Predictions / Reports / Nutrition / Exercise?
Those are plan features. If your current plan doesn’t include one, it shows with an “Upgrade” badge instead. Open Subscription to see what each plan unlocks. During a trial or beta you may have full access.
How accurate is the medication-level graph?
It’s an estimate built from your logged shots and each medication’s half-life. It’s a useful model for personal tracking, not a measurement and not medical advice. Logging shots accurately and setting a realistic half-life make it more representative.
I forgot to log a shot / logged the wrong date. Can I fix it?
Yes. Open Shots, then edit or delete the entry. Set the real date/time you injected: the reminders, medication-level curve and shot-cycle view all recalculate from your shot history.
How does the supply runway know when I’ll run out?
It combines the vials you’ve added under My supply with your current dosing. Keep your vials up to date (including overfill) and add new ones when they arrive: that’s the most common reason a runway looks wrong.
Can I import my old spreadsheet or notes?
Yes: use Import data. Paste or upload your log, hit Preview to check how it’s read, then Run the import. You can discard and retry as many times as you like before saving anything. See the “Importing past data” topic.
Push notifications aren’t working on my iPhone.
On iOS, web push only works after you install the app to your Home Screen. In Safari: Share → Add to Home Screen, open Tirzing from that new icon, then enable push under Settings → Notifications.
How do I switch to dark mode?
Settings → Preferences, and turn on dark mode. It applies everywhere, including your charts, across all your devices.
Is my data private? Can I get a copy or delete it?
Your tracking data is private to your account; the only things you ever share are the chat messages you post and progress images you deliberately export. You can export a full CSV copy any time, and delete your account permanently: both under Settings → Account & security.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open Subscription and cancel there (or via the secure customer portal). You keep access until the end of the period you’ve already paid for.
Looking for something specific? Use the search box at the top of the help center (it is in the sidebar of every article too): it searches every topic, not just their titles. Still stuck? Contact support in the sidebar reaches the team directly.
These guides are for using the app. They’re not medical advice: the medication-level estimates in particular are a model for personal tracking only. Talk to your clinician about your treatment.
