Sharing your supply

Sharing vials with someone? Keep your runway honest.

Sharing your vials with a partner, friend or family member? Add them as a sharer and Tirzing will draw their doses from your stock too, so your runway ("when do I run out") reflects the real, pooled rate rather than just your own use. We track nothing else about them: no shots, no weight, no profile. It is purely so your supply maths adds up.

Adding a sharer

  1. On My supply, tap Shared supply.
  2. Give them a label (e.g. Bob), and pick which medication of yours they share.
  3. Build their dose ladder: a dose, how often, and a start date, adding steps if they titrate up over time. It works exactly like your own titration plan.
  4. Choose Auto-deduct or Ask, then save.

Auto-deduct vs Ask

  • Auto-deduct takes each scheduled dose out of your stock automatically as it comes due.
  • Ask waits for you: next time you open the app after a dose was due, you get a "deduct Bob's 6 mg today?" prompt on the supply page (and a banner elsewhere). You can change the amount if it was different, choose which vial it came from, and even split it across two vials if one runs out mid-draw. You can also skip it if they did not take it.

Either way, shared doses show up in your runway card so you can see who is drawing from the pool and how soon it empties.

Shared draws lower your supply and runway, but they do not count toward your own cost-per-pound (that stays your medicine only). Your cost-per-mg is unchanged, since that is the price of the medicine whoever injects it.

Pause a sharer any time to stop deducting and drop them from the runway, or delete them entirely. Doses already deducted stay recorded in your shared-draw history.

These guides are for using the app. They’re not medical advice: the medication-level estimates in particular are a model for personal tracking only. Talk to your clinician about your treatment.
